INFORMATION:
Because of some urgent (partial) network issues we have to replace fiber equipment and one of our corerouters with a new management blade, a new configuration will be deployed on the corerouter aswell. This maintenance will take some time and cause some downtime for dedicated and colocation customers.
Our apologies for this late notification but we had to schedule this maintnence at the earliest to keep our network stable.
If you have any customers running on your servers, please make them aware of this maintenence because there will be some downtime.

Dear Sir/Madam, We lost connections to one of our high volume routers in our Frankfurt DC. We are investigating and updates will follow. Affected ranges 46.165.220.0/22 46.165.228.0/22 46.165.240.0/21 We are currently rebooting the box.

The root cause of the network issue was due to very large lldp multicast loop-flood.
This type of network issue was very difficult to detect and took a long time to pin-point. We will in the near future plan a maintenance in to replace some hardware that will restrict this type of outage.

18/03 - 23:10 CET - Serious issue on a coreswitch, engineer is on his way to the datacenter the switch is located. We will have this issue solved ASAP! It is possible your server is down, in this case it is affected by the outage.
